Sakura marathon, Saga, Japan.

Running through the cherry blossom trees, along the Tafuse river,
Saga city. The annual half marathon is held in April every year,
to coincide with the blossoming of the cherry trees. Many people
participate, and many, many more turn out to cheer the runners
along the way. It is quite a social event.
